Healthy Chicken Nuggets with Homemade Tomato Sauce Chicken.

Appliances used: Blender, oven and stove top

Ingredients: 
2 small chicken breasts 
2 tablespoons of coconut flour  
2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut 
2 tablespoons of almond flour 
2 tablespoons of sesame seeds 
Salt and pepper 
Tomato Sauce 

Ingredients: 
5 medium tomatoes 
1 small onion 
2 garlic cloves 
1 teaspoon of dried mixed herbs 
½ teaspoon of smoked paprika 
2 dates 
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar 
1 tablespoon of tomato paste 
Salt and pepper 

Instructions: 1. Place tomatoes, onion and garlic in a pan. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes until everything is soft. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue to cook on low heat for 3-5 more minutes. Taste and season. 3. Blend the tomato sauce in a high speed blender until smooth, alternatively you can miss this step and have is chunky. 4. Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees. 5. Slice the chicken into 1cm thick pieces. In a snap-lock bag place the coconut flour, add the chicken pieces, close the bag and shake well. 6. In a bowl combine the desiccated coconut, almond flour, sesame seeds and salt. 7. In another bowl crack the eggs and whisk. 8. Dip each chicken piece in the egg then coat evenly with the coconut mixture. Line all the nuggets up on a baking tray lined with baking paper. 9. Bake in the oven for 6 minutes, turn each nugget over and bake again for another 6 minutes.

Pan fried chicken breast with honey mustard sauce and vegetables Chicken breast (skinless).

Appliances used: Cook top


Ingredients:
  • Broccoli 
  • (1/4) Button mushroom 
  • 4-5 Garlic 
  • 1 clove Olive oil 
  • Whole Mustard 
  • 1/2 tbsp (crushed) 
  • Dijon mustard 
  • (1/2 tbsp) Honey 
  • 1 tsp Lemon 
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Pepper 

Procedures:

Season the chicken breast with some salt and pepper (As per taste) and leave it for 10 mins. Wash and cut Broccoli in to bite size pieces and mushroom in to half. Mustard sauce Combine crushed mustard seeds, dijon mustard, honey, and touch of olive oil,lemon and pinch of salt. (Wisk until well combined) Put oil in to a pan. When the oil is hot, sautè vegetables for 4-5 mins, season with salt and pepper. Remove the vegetables and in to the same pan add a little bit more olive oil and place the chicken breast and the crushed garlic clove and cook for 8 minutes each side or until cooked through. (Garlic clove to flavor the chicken) Now it's time to plate Slice chicken Add all the veggies on to a plate and place the sliced chicken on top of it and drizzle your honey mustard sauce.   • 1/2 kg chicken breast 
  • Onion 
  • Garlic

  • Constarch diluted in water

PROCEDURE: 
1. Heat wok and put oil , sauté onion garlic and chicken breast until brown add salt. 2. Stir fry the remaining vegetables, carrots, green beans, snow peas,cabbage, celery, and Brocolli 3. Add mushroom and quail egg 4. Dilute constarch in water and add oyster sauce. 5. Add the diluted constarch and oyster sauce to the stir fry vegetables 6. Serve Hot

How to Make Whole Wheat Dates Cake

Whole Wheat Dates Cake Ingredients and Procedures.

Appliances used: Kitchen Machine Cake mixer, Blender & Cooking Range Oven


Ingredients:
Dates – 30 Milk – 2 cup Brown Sugar – ¾ cup Vanilla essence – ½ tsp Wheat flour – 2 cup Baking soda – ¾ tsp Salt - ¼ tsp Vegetable oil – ½ cup Nuts (chopped) – ½ cup Dates (chopped) – ¼ cup 

Method: 
Grease a cake tin with butter, dust it with flour and keep it ready. Sift together wheat flour, baking soda and salt for 3 – 4 times. Keep it aside. Remove the seeds from the dates add 1 cup milk to it. Microwave it for 2 minutes to make the dates soft (you can also keep the dates soaked for about an hour instead of microwaving). Add the remaining milk, sugar and vanilla essence to the heated dates and blend it well in a grinder. Move this to a bowl and add the flour mixture to this little by little and combine evenly. Add the vegetable oil and mix well. Now add the chopped nuts (reserve 2 tbsp nuts to sprinkle on top) and dates to this and fold lightly. Pour this batter to the greased cake tin and sprinkle the remaining chopped nuts on top. Bake it in the preheated oven for about 45 – 50 minutes (or till a wooden skewer inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean) at 180 degree. Remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Slowly remove the cake from the cake tin and cool it completely on a wire rack. Serve.

  • Lemon Salmon 
  • Steak Capsicum 
  • Spinach 
  • Salt 
  • Chili Pepper 
  • Garlic 

Direction: 
1. In a bowl, mix lemon, salt, pepper and chili and Marinate salmon steak for atleast 30mins to 1 hour 2. Warm the cooking pan with olive oil over medium low heat. 3. Place the marinated salmon in the pan. 4. Cook until golden brown on both side, about 4 mins. On each side. 5. Transfer to a plate and set aside. 6. In the same pan, cook the capsicum for 1 min and set aside. 7. In a medium sauce pot over medium heat, add spinach leaves and cook just until wilted. 8. In a pan used in cooking salmon, add olive oil then mined garlic and sauté for 30secounds. 9. Immediately pull spinach from pot and add it in the sauté pan with garlic for 1 minutes. 10. Put it in the same plate, garnish and serve.

Ingredients: 
450gms boneless, 
skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced or pounded thin 
1 tablespoon spice mix (recipe below) juice and zest of one lemon 
4 teaspoons olive oil, divided 
1 small onion/thinly sliced 
2 yellow squash (about a 400gms)/thinly sliced 
a handful of olives salt and pepper to taste 
2 tablespoons chopped, fresh parsley for garnish 

Spice Mix Recipe: 
2 teaspoons ground ginger 
2 teaspoons ground coriander 
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper 
1 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric 
1 1/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg 
1 teaspoon ground allspice 
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 

Method: Combine the lemon juice and zest with the spice mix and 2 teaspoons olive oil in a small bowl. Rub the mix into the chicken. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and cook the chicken until it's cooked through, 3 - 4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken to a platter and cover. Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet and saute the onions for 10 - 15 minutes. You want them to be really tender and sweet. Scrape the spice mix from the bottom of the skillet. Pour any juice from the chicken back into the skillet and add the squash. Cook until crisp-tender. Add the olives and cook a few minutes more until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper as desired and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

1.76 oz bean thread noodles 
1/4 ground chicken mix with 
3tbsp soysauce 
1/2 tsp blacj pepper 

Instructions: 
1. Place the bitter gourd in large bowl with lukewarm water and add salt then leave for 5 mins, drain it using strainer. 2. Place the bean thread noodles in another bowl for 5 mins to make it soft and easy to cook and drain it after. 3. Heat the pan & place put the cooking oil on it. 4. Cook the ground chicken for 10 mins until it will change color and separate it in plate. 5. Add a bit of oil in pan and saute garlic, onion, and tomato. 6. Add the bitter gourd and mix to other ingredients. Put salt and pepper to taste. 7. Add the cooked ground chicken and bean thread noodles as well then mix it all and let it cook for 5 mins. 8. Vegan Quinoa Salad With Roasted Sweet Potato, Apples, Dried Cranberries And Pine Nuts Ingredients and Procedures.


Appliances used: Samsung Microwave Oven, Rice Cooker and Cooking Stove

Ingredients: 
1 cup quinoa 
1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced 
3 Tbsp cider vinegar 
4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided 
1/4 tsp kosher salt 
1/4 tsp fresh black pepper 
1 small red onion, thinly sliced 
1 Granny Smith apple, diced (do not peel) 
1 firm red apple, diced (do not peel) 
3/4 cup dried cranberries 
1/2 cup pine nuts 

Directions: 
Preheat oven to 425°F. Rinse and drain the quinoa, and place it in a rice cooker. Fill the cooker to the 1 cup mark, and set to cook. (Or, cook on the stovetop, according to package directions.) When the quinoa is cooked, turn off the cooker and allow the quinoa to steam, with the top closed, for 15 minutes. (Or, on stovetop, remove pot from the heat and set aside, covered, for 15 minutes.) Scrape the quinoa into a large mixing bowl, and let cool while you prepare the remaining ingredients. Place the diced sweet potato on a rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Roast for 15-20 minutes, until just tender and starting to brown slightly. Remove from the oven, and set aside. While the sweet potato is cooking, stir together the red onion with 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a small frying pan. Cook over lowest heat for 8-10 minutes, until the onion is very soft and beginning to brown slightly. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vinegar, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper, until the dressing emulsifies (thickens). Toss in the quinoa, sweet potato, onion, diced apple and cranberries. In the same frying pan in which you cooked the onion, toast the pine nuts for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, until the nuts begin to brown. Add those to the mixing bowl, and gently toss to bring all of the ingredients together. Serve warm or at room temperature.

DECLARING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY OF EVERY YEAR AS NATIONAL DENTAL HEALTH MONTH

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 235, dated January 24, 1951, declared the period from February 3 to 9 of every year as National Dental Health Week;

WHEREAS, its major objective is to arouse dental health consciousness among the people;

WHEREAS, the dental profession plays a vital role in the maintenance of a healthy citizenry and the Philippine Dental Association since then has lived up with its share to propagate the value of oral/dental health to the people during the traditional week-long celebration;

WHEREAS, a DOH survey released in 1998 revealed that 96 out of one hundred Filipinos are afflicted by dental caries making tooth decay probably the most prominent disease affecting Filipinos;

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the week-long celebration should be extended to one (1) month to make it more significant to reach out more people especially in the countryside and make them more conscious about the value of good oral/dental health.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of February of every year as National Dental Health Month.

This supersedes Proclamation No. 236, series of 1951.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

WHEREAS, the heart is the seat of life, and the growing prevalence of heart cases among our people should be attented to with urgency;

WHEREAS, there should be national awareness to this serious health problem through a program of emphasis and continuing research and education; and

WHEREAS, the true wealth of a nation is the health of its people and a nation can stand only as strong and healthy as its people are strong and healthy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of his Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the month of February of every year as “Philippine Heart Month” to be devoted to the task of effecting the highest possible degree of health care among our people through intensive encouragement of research, experimentation and study of the human heart and its affliction, as well as community involvement in the task of nation building for a healthier citizenry by extensive mass continuing education.

The Department of Health and the Philippine Heart Association in collaboration with the Heart Foundation of the Philippines shall jointly spearhead the above-outlined national effort on a year-round basis and for this purpose may call upon any department, office, Bureau, institution or agency of the Government as well as the private sector to render such assistance as may be necessary to carry out such programs as well as such other activities as may be undertaken pursuant to the provisions of this proclamation.
